4 pork loin chops

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 golden delicious apples, cored,

      cut into thin wedges


Step 1

Place pork in a glass or ceramic dish. Rub both sides of pork with sugar. Heat oil in a large, non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook pork for 1 minute each side or until golden and caramelised. Reduce heat to medium. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes each side or until cooked through. Transfer pork to a plate. Cover. Set aside for 5 minutes to rest.

Step 2

Meanwhile, add apples to pan. Cook, turning apples, for 5 minutes or until tender.

Poor apples over pork chops.

Serve with salad or vegetables.
